Playing Haydn for the Angel of Death

This boxed set of prints is part of a 1997 winter book publication by the Minnesota Center for Book Arts. The text, in 15 parts was illustrated with visual interpretations by: Barbara Tetenbaum, Gaylord Schanilec, Tracy Honn, Bonnie O'Connell, Pati Scoby, Bonnie Stahlecker, C. Chris Stern & Jules Remedios Faye, William Myers, Inge Bruggeman, Alastair Johnston, Walter Tisdale, Bridget O'Malley, Chip Schilling, Peter Kruty, Marta Gomez & Ivan Soll.

My page is number 13. A well worn piece of plywood that reminded me of an abstract musical score was printed along with Photopolymer plates for the text, line art and some gold foil stamping. I also made all of the clamshell boxes for the standard edition.
